Toshiba Launches Satellite Pro A200 and A210 series

A choice of AMD or Intel processors, ample storage, and a DVD writer starting at $699.



If you're on the hunt for a business machine that won't break the bank, Toshiba's latest offerings may be to your liking. Today Toshiba launched the Satellite Pro A200 and the Satellite Pro A210 series, part of a new line of wallet-friendly notebooks for mobile professionals.
Ranging from $99 to $699, the new systems provide business essentials at reasonable prices. For optimal performance, Toshiba recommends outfitting the A200-EZ2204X with Windows XP Professional, a 2-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti drive, and 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi for $999. The recommended configuration for the A210-EZ2203X is a 2-GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-60 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti drive, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and Windows XP Pro running under the hood for $899. Both models are Onyx Blue, measure 15.4 inches, and feature TruBrite technology for improved visuals and ConfigFree technology to help users connect to wired and wireless networks.
